With a traditional bow in your grasp, you'll learn the basics of archery with the help of a fully qualified instructor, who will give you tuition on essential archery techniques. Nothing compares to the thrill of nocking the arrow, drawing back the bow and observing the grace and agility of this ancient sport, and you may just surprise yourself by hitting the target within minutes! This hugely enjoyable session has a significant junior focus with archery fun and games, but you are also able to progress very quickly. Give Robin Hood a run for his money with this brilliant experience!The Junior Archery Session in London session starts off with the instructors matching participants to suitable equipment, running through the safety issues and giving a shooting demonstration. Once that's done, you can start shooting! Targets are standard archery targets placed at appropriate distances. The instructors often play games and you sometimes shoot at balloons.
