This half-day climbing course is designed for novice or total beginner climbers as an introduction to rock climbing. You will have fun, learn basic climbing skills, and master bouldering techniques. This great introduction to the world of rock climbing is ideal for someone with a vague interest in the sport, or someone who smiply fancies trying something new and very rewarding.Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the equipment and the surface that you will be climbing. Once briefed it is time to start practicing the basic skills covered in the lesson. Here you will be practicing techniques including knots & belaying, climbing technique & etiquette and an introduction to bouldering & safety awareness. This great taster session will give a solid understanding of what is involved with this great sport, and hopefully whet the whistle for future adventures!
