The experience takes place at Holt Hall Apiary, near Tamworth, Warwickshire. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by a friendly beekeeper, who’ll begin by giving a half hour’s talk on the profession, the bees, and the equipment you need to get started. Next, it’s time to head over to the apiary and suit up! Once you look suitably ridiculous and the smoker’s been lit, your guide will open up a hive for your inspection. You’ll get to admire the bees at work, while the beekeeper points out several interesting features of their home.
