Cooking Experience Days: Discover the secrets to perfect pastry every time, during this
informative cookery class, in central London. Benefit from a
combination of hands-on instruction and demonstrations, before
preparing a tasty dish to take home.
Upon arrival at the cookery school, you’ll be welcomed with an
oven-fresh afternoon snack. Once that’s been happily devoured,
cooking will commence. Throughout the afternoon, you’ll learn to
utilise quality, organic ingredients in a variety of different
recipes – including choux, puff and shortcrust pastries. You’ll get
to make the latter two yourself, and bake an apple pie, vegetable
quiche or Cornish pasty to enjoy later. The class will cover
profiteroles, palmiers and cheese straws, and provide sure-fire
tips for producing the lightest, flakiest pastry in your home
kitchen. What’s more, once the lesson concludes, the washing up’s
taken care of!
