Entry to Banqueting House and Afternoon Tea for Two at Hilton Westminster £54.00
Discover the opulence of Banqueting House, the last remaining component from the once glorious Palace of Whitehall as well as enjoying a classic afternoon tea at Hilton Westminster. With a friend, you’ll have the chance to explore an incredible architectural landmark steeped in fascinating and often controversial history as you gaze upon the majesty of Ruben’s Ceiling, a masterpiece from the golden age of painting. Stand in the grizzly spot where Charles I was executed, or delve into the vaulted under croft, originally conceived as a drinking den for James I! After uncovering a series of dramatic events at this historical hotspot, it’s time to indulge in a very British tradition with a delicious afternoon tea. Tuck into a range of finger sandwiches, sumptuous scones served with tasty clotted cream and preserves, followed by a selection of delicate homemade pastries, as well as a fantastic selection of classic teas and contemporary herbal infusions. Yum.
