Weaponry Experience Days: Get ready to test your skill and accuracy during this awesome one-hour knife and axe throwing experience in Durham! Join an expert instructor as you learn to safely toss throwing knives, Native American tomahawks and maybe even a double-handed throwing axe! The experience takes place indoors, a twenty-minute drive from Durham. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by your instructor, who’ll give a short safety briefing before introducing the fearsome weapons you’ll be using. First up, you’ll learn to throw specially-forged knives, aiming for the large wooden targets. These are followed by Native American tomahawks and, at your instructor’s discretion, the double-handed woodsman’s axe (please note, the axe is quite large and heavy, so an alternative will be provided if you’re unable to handle it safely). Your instructor will give a demonstration using each weapon, and you’ll have several attempts to hone your skills. Calm your heart, focus your mind, and be the first to hit the bullseye with a thud!
