Power Kite Lesson £49.00

Power Kite Experience Days: These huge kites are not the sort you would have flown as a child! Reaching up to 12 meters across, these huge kites are capable of pulling a grown adult across the ground and into the air. This fantastic lesson will introduce you to all aspects of powerkite flying, which forms a fundamental part of other kite based sports such as kite buggying and kite surfing. Your expert instructor will be on hand throughout the lesson to answer any questions and offer advice and tipsOnce you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your Power Kite Lesson will begin with a safety brief and introduction to the equipment and instructor you will be learning so much off during this 2 hour experience! Then, once briefed you can begin the serious stuff, as the lesson you right from the beginning, starting with a short theory session in the centre's classroom, covering wind and weather, site assessment, equipment, safety, the wind window and riding directions. Then you'll be out on to the beach to fly the kites, covering: - Power kite set up and tuning - Kite flying including safety - Steering and kite control within the wind window - Kite power control - Introduction to more powerful kites
