2 Day Bushcraft and Survival Course in Surrey £150.00

Outdoor Experience Days: This two-day course, in Surrey, will teach you the fundamentals of bushcraft and survival. Learn useful - potentially life-saving - skills in the company of ex-military special forces veterans, and gain a new appreciation for nature's bounty. The experience takes place in the remote 'wilderness' of the Surrey Countryside of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You'll be met by your instructors at the woodland headquarters, where you'll be introduced to the rest of the group and given a full safety briefing. The day's itinerary will cover a variety of outdoor techniques - from lighting a fire without matches, to building a protective shelter. You'll explore the psychology of survival, learn to purify drinking water, and cook wild game and fish. The following day will offer experience and advice on orienteering and navigation. Though many of your instructors are former soldiers, this isn't a military boot camp! The emphasis is on having fun, and team building activities will ensure everyone's kept in high spirits throughout the day.
