Outdoor Experience Days: Canyoning is an utterly unique water and rock adventure, and is definitely an experience that you will never forget! This fantastic activity involves following a natural water course in the beautiful Perthshire countryside, plunging down water-polished chutes, abseiling waterfalls, sliding down natural water flumes, scrambling up and down gorges and jumping into deep, clear rock pools. Canyoning is a challenging, exciting and very physical experience, and definitely only for individuals with a real sense of adventure! Prepare to get very wet as you climb, swim, slide and jump through the spectacular and mysterious scenery of eastern Scotland.Your canyoning experience in Scotland will start at the centre, where you will meet your group and instructors. You will be given a safety & introductory briefing before being issued with your kit which includes wet suit, neoprene jacket / gloves / socks, buoyancy aid and helmet. It is then time to head to the gorge! The next several hours will be full of adrenalin as you work your way down the canyon and swim through rapids, jump off cliffs, scramble up rocks and navigate huge waterfalls! The expert instructors will be ever present to ensure everyone is safe. At the end of the session you will return to the centre.
