Paddleboard Experience Days: What exactly is paddleboarding, I hear you ask? The sport has actually been around for hundreds of years, historically used as a form of transport between islands and developed into a popular leisure activity. Now there's everything from paddleboarding races, to guided paddleboard tours, and even paddleboard yoga! With the Stand Up Paddleboarding Lesson in Northumberland you'll pick up all the basic skills needed to learn this hugely enjoyable water sport; making it the perfect introduction to a new hobby. The SUP lesson takes place on the picturesque flat waters surrounding the Northumberland coastline, meaning waves are at a minimum and you can focus on practising the various techniques. The expert instructor leading the session will talk you through all the important information, including the proper stance to adopt on the board, the various types of turn, and of course, how to fall! After two hours of tuition and practise you'll have the knowledge to develop your paddleboarding skills further, and will receive a BSUPA certificate to recognise you've completed the course. The 2 Hour SUP Lesson in Northumberland is an ideal experience gift for those looking to try something new, or simply as a fun day out to share with friends.
