Speedboat Experience Days: Forget open-top buses – here’s a tour that’ll really blow the cobwebs away! Strap in for a 40-minute RIB blast on the Thames, and take in the capital’s waterfront sights – including the Thames Barrier, O2 Arena and Canary Wharf. Your journey begins at North Greenwich Pier, where you’ll board the twin turbo, 740hp RIB (rigid-hulled inflatable boat if you’re wondering). Once everyone’s donned their life jackets and taken a seat, you’ll set off downriver towards the Thames Barrier, London’s impressive defence against high tides and storm surges. Here, you’ll turn back and accelerate upriver, past the O2 Arena, Greenwich Yacht Club, and Canary Wharf.
