Afternoon Tea Experience Days: Can you think of a more British treat than warm, oven-fresh scones and homemade jam? Grab your apron and join an experienced baker for an afternoon of hands-on scone making, top tips and friendly conversation. The experience takes place in Stratford-upon-Avon, in the West Midlands, and your teacher is Fulden—a passionate cook and former café owner. She began baking with her mother and grandmother when she was a child, and she now loves sharing her knowledge with others. On arrival, you’ll begin by preparing the mixed berry jam that will accompany your finished scones. After the scones you will move on to making a chocolate fudge cake. Last of all, you’ll learn to make different variations of sweet and savoury scones (traditional and seasonal). While they’re in the oven, you can enjoy a good chat and a cup of tea, before finally tasting the results of all that hard work!
