Archery Experience Days: Learn the ancient sport of archery on the edge of Sherwood Forest - just like Robin Hood! Using both Longbows and Re-curve bows, you'll pick up tips from an expert instructor and be firing at the bullseye in no time at all. Located at a top activity centre in Nottingham, the archery experience takes place in the great outdoors on a purpose-built range. The experience begins with a group safety briefing and demonstration on using the equipment properly, then you'll be split into pairs to try shooting with the longbows first. You have unlimited shots during the time and an instructor on hand to offer advice and guidance, so there's really no excuse to not be hitting the target! After the longbows you'll have a go at using recurve bows, shooting at life-size rubber animals - now that's something you don't see everyday. The session includes tea or coffee for all participants, and you're welcome to grab a bite to eat at the lovely on-site cafe to conclude a brilliant day out.
