Outdoor Experience Days: This 7 hour gorge walking experience really cranks up the adrenaline-o-meter and allows you to take on nature at it's very best! Tucked away in the mountainous Brecon Beacon countryside, you and your fellow explorers will find yourselves tackling some geographical marvels...this is an absolute blast of an adventure, not to be missed! Sometimes referred to as "ghyll scrambling", this gorge walking adventure in South Glamorgan, is a highly physical experience which will give you the chance to explore a truly exceptional by-product of river erosion, first-hand. After meeting your highly trained instructors, and kitting yourselves out with some necessary safety gear (think helmets, wetsuits and buoyancy aids), you'll head out to the first gorge of choice, with the rest of your group. Safety briefings out of the way, it's time to get physical! Throughout the morning, you could find yourselves exploring a dark and disused railway tunnel, wading through tumbling streams, clambering up rocks, and even sliding down the limestone in the river flow. After a break for lunch (which you'll need to bring with you), you'll head back out into the Beacons for a fun-filled afternoon of climbing, scrambling and jumping over waterfalls...if you're up for it! By the end of the day, you'll be exhausted, but grinning from ear to ear.
