Classic Car Experience Days: The iconic Jaguar 'Series I' E-Type is a classic car of beauty, class and high performance! First unveiled in 1961, it is often considered the most beautiful and important classic cars of all time.On arrival at the Hemel Hempstead track, you’ll be welcomed and briefed, before taking four laps of the track (3 sighting, 1 high speed) with an instructor behind the wheel. These will be completed in one of three race-prepped sports cars – the Mitsubishi Evo X, Subaru Impreza Sti or BMW M3. With a feel for the basic racing lines, its now onto the one and only Jaguar E-Type. Originally unveiled in 1961, this vehicle is capable of 0-60mph in 6.4 seconds, which even by today's standards is still impressive! Powered by a 4.2 litre version of the proven Jaguar XK engine, enjoy ten laps of the Hemel Hempstead circuit and see what it can do. The motorsport instruction team will be on hand to help you get the most out of your driving experience, providing one-to-one tuition as you complete ten laps of the circuit.This experience is available as a DRIVING or PASSENGER experience. To drive in this experience the participant must be aged 17 or over with a full driving licence. To be a passenger in this experience the participant must be aged 5 or over and adhere to the height restrictions.
